In the Jewish faith, when you find out that someone is expecting, it is custom to wish that person a “B’sha’ah Tovah,” (may it come in good time) as opposed to “Mazel (or Mazal) Tov.” When you wish someone a “B’sha’ah Tovah,” it is an elegant concealed blessing for their baby to come at a good or favourable time. When you wish someone “Mazel Tov,” it means that they have already experienced good mazal or flow of blessing. Since the baby hasn’t come yet, it is best not to use that greeting prematurely. We recommend sending this card unaccompanied by a gift.

Buy this card on its own, or as part of our Marvelous Mitzvah Collection. For a secular version/congratulations of this card, check out our "Welcome Little One" card.

Design features cloud illustrations on a dark blue layered background, with a moon and stars in the foreground, by Annie Chu. Hand-lettered text reads “B’Sha’ah Tovah". Blank inside for your own message.
