Collaboration with Considerate Goods

The COVID-19 Pandemic has hit us all in so many different ways. However, there have also been some small silver linings, including the development of gratitude for the things that we have, the experience of compassion from loved ones and strangers alike, and the discovery of new ideas and creative pursuits. With this sentiment in mind, we are pleased to announce our collaboration with the business, considerate goods!

The Story

My friend Anela Dujsic and I (Annie) both started, what you could call "Pandemic businesses". I used my art and marketing (and even a little legal) background to bring Chu on This Studio to life, while Anela used her fashion, business (and even a little tennis!) background to bring her mask business considerate goods, to life. Here's an Instagram Story snap of us in July 2020 having a socially-distanced park business brainstorming session:

Motivated by the belief that masks are considerate, cute and such an easy and important thing that we can all do to play our part in stopping the spread and keeping each other safe - Anela made a mask. Then she spent *countless* hours perfecting the fit of the mask. Then she made some more. And more and more!

As in my case, Anela's family also stepped in to help with the business (especially mom Liliana who became the Director of Ironing, among many other things!) and brother Phil Beans, who naturally took on the role of Chief Photography Officer. Even dad Muris stepped in to help punch all the little paper hearts that are shipped with each order! Friends and extended family have also stepped in to help in numerous ways - from helping to create a garage "factory", to offering art studio photography space, and of course, mask modeling (myself included)!

It's been such a rewarding and fun experience to have developed our businesses alongside each other.

The Current Offer

Given that both of our businesses are built on the same foundations of being cute, considerate, and locally-made, we thought that pairing our brands, audiences and products together was a natural fit! After all, what is more considerate and cute than sending a hand-illustrated card AND a fashionable, comfortable mask, especially for loved ones you might not be able to see for awhile?
